Bookpleasures Review/Goodreads Review

"Award-winning novelist and Mississippi native Judge Bell weaves together a magical, meaningful, moving and marvelous story…Resplendent with charm, wit, and an engaging, educational storyline, BeeBop: The Honeybee Wannabee Hero includes a Parent and Teacher’s Guide."

The Oxford Eagle

"The story also carries a strong message about the importance of believing in yourself and holding on to hope no matter what, making it a wonderful starting point for shared discussion with young readers. The sketchy black-and-white line drawings help readers see the world from a bee's-eye perspective, and the text is just long and complex enough to challenge readers transitioning from picture-book to chapter-book reading. BeeBop: The Honeybee Wannabee Hero is a sweet and instructive story, perfect for teaching about bullying, family, and belonging."
